THERMAGE

GET BACK TO THE REAL YOU.

As we age, the collagen in our skin begins to naturally break down, resulting in unwanted facial lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. Thermage radiofrequency energy works with your body, remodelling your collagen to help your skin get that smooth feel and youthful look you want.

How does Thermage work?

This non-surgical treatment uses radiofrequency energy to heat the collagen in the deeper layers of the skin without damage to the outer surface of the skin. Your skin is improved in 2 ways: first, existing collagen is tightened. Second, collagen production is renewed to further increase firmness over time. The result is a comprehensive, deep improvement that goes beyond the surface.

What are the benefits of Thermage?

  • It gives targeted results. With Thermage, your provider can treat problem areas precisely, ensuring better and more defined results.

  • It’s non-invasive. This makes it safer and less painful than surgical cosmetic treatments such as facelifts.

  • There is no downtime. Shortly after the treatment, patients can return to their normal daily routine.

  • Thermage works on all skin types and colors. In addition to this, the cosmetic treatment can be used in many parts of the face and body

What to expect during treatment?

You will feel cooling and heating sensations during each pulse. Throughout the procedure, your provider will ask for feedback on the level of heat sensation to help balance your comfort with maximum results. Patients may feel a mild or moderate pain during the treatment. After treatment, your skin may be slightly red, but most people resume regular activities immediately after treatment. There’s typically no recovery time or special follow-up care.

When will you start seeing results?

Most patients can see and feel Thermage results very soon after treatment – in as little as one day.  Continued improvements and contouring can happen for up to six months as your body regenerates collagen.
