What is O-Shot?

O-Shot is a minimally invasive procedure that helps simulate vaginal tissue generation and collagen production to relief urinary continence and female sexual dysfunction. The treatment starts by drawing small amount of one’s blood to extract the PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and inject it directly into the vaginal area. The platelets releases growth factors that help generate tissue to increase stimulation and sensitivity.

What are the benefits of O-Shot treatments?

This extremely safe treatment helps relieve pain and discomfort during intercourse, gain control of urinary leakage, increase clitoral sensitivity and arousal, smoother and younger skin texture of the vulva, tighter vaginal opening, increase natural lubrication, increase arousal from g-spot stimulation, and achieve more intense and more frequent orgasm during intercourse.

What are the possible side effects?

The area injected might be sensitive for a few days, especially during the first void. Other than potential allergic reaction to local anesthesia given for pain control, there have not been any long term side effects noted.

What is the downtime?

There is no downtime. You may resume sexual intercourse the same night.

Is there any discomfort during and after the treatment?

Discomfort is very minimal if any during the O-shot treatment, especially in the hands of experienced providers familiar with the female genital system. Immediate after the treatment, it is common to feel mild discomfort during the first void and during prolonged sitting. Over the counter pain medication can be taken to minimize any discomfort, although most patients do not even require such medication.

When do you see the results and how long does the results last?

Although some people start noticing results after a few weeks, most will notice its maximum benefit after 3 full months. Most people continue to note improvement at one year, but individual results vary. It is advised to repeat the O-shot yearly to maintain the health and function of the vaginal tissue.
